I have been involved in designing and delivering training in counselling settings for more than twenty years, from Counselling Skills through to Continuing Professional Development days. I specialise in the areas of Attachment and its application in therapy, in Life / Developmental Stages, the Effects of Trauma, working with Loss and Bereavement, and the impact of the Internet and communications technology Organisations which have employed me to run training days or in-depth courses include:

  • bereavement services
  • youth counselling services
  • agencies for people affected by alcohol dependency
  • pupil referral units
  • generic counselling organisations etc.


    TRAINING COURSES IN ATTACHMENT.

    I have a long association with the Wimbledon Guild Counselling Service, having run courses on aspects of attachment theory and its application to clinical practice every year for sixteen years. These take place over eight Saturdays throughout the year and participants receive certificates of attendance towards their annual continuing professional development requirements. Alternatively, these courses can now be taken as Years one, two and three building to a Postgraduate Diploma in Attachment-Based Therapy.
